    Description

    Offering a Fabulous Vintage Wicker Fishing Creel. This great old fish basket has its Original Leather adjustable Strap, and Leather and Metal Clasp. There is a metal plate on the top of the clasp with a initals that appear to be CG or GC. It is very finely woven and in very good condition with few breaks in the weaving. One side of the connecting lashing and the loop on the back have been repaired with twine. The stitching is missing that held the leather shoulder piece to the cloth. It measures approximately 11" x 8" x 8" at the bottom, and 6" x 6" x 7" at the top, and is 7" high at the back. It is a tremendous gift for the fisherman, addition to a collection.
